LDV/HDD Catalysts – The business behind Catalytic Solutions’ proprietary Mixed Phase Catalyst (MPC®) technology, creates, manufactures and supplies emission control catalysts for the automotive industry (gasoline and diesel engines).
The Company is focused on delivering emission control systems and solutions that deliver high value to our customers while benefiting the global environment through air quality improvement, sustainability and energy efficiency. Environmental experts worldwide have recognized the importance of working for a cleaner, healthier environment. In the U.S., for example, the government established the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal agencies to help put laws into effect that protect the environment and public health by creating and enforcing regulations. These regulations are mandatory requirements that are typically addressed through partnerships (i.e. National Clean Diesel Campaign (NCDC)), educational programs and grants (i.e. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009)). The U.S. EPA and E.U. European Environment Agency (EEA) have issued a series of regulations affecting automobiles, diesel trucks and buses, and off-road equipment in order to dramatically reduce emissions.
